I absolutely LOVE this. The material is suede-like so super soft but the foam is dense enough to stay put when the kids are jumping all over it. No smell whatsoever when I opened it. It grew to the size it needed to be super fast. I love that this couch is AFFORDABLE and quality. My 6 year old builder loves that it came with a booklet with ideas for builds. The light grey is very pretty and looks great in our loft. This is going to be a hit for years to come. Love that it opens up imaginative and creative play (my kids playing Disney on ice using the couch as the seating in the arena 😂) I’ll definitely consider shopping for more of their collection. Get this couch!
I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy these cushions are! I was skeptical at some of the reviews but I’m able to sit on it with my two kids and it doesn’t sink in.
What an awesome modular couch for kids! I’m really impressed with the functionality and quality-As a pediatric speech therapist I love the opportunities this couch provides for overall development- it not only is great for motor skills but really fosters critical thinking skills and creativity. And I think one of the best things about this couch is that it will grow with your kiddo from infancy well into childhood (we love a good long term item rather than toys that don’t last!!).Additionally- the fabric is great and super easy to wash, I just threw them in my washing machine and they came out great!! (And the gray looks amazing in my house!!)Definitely recommend!!
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this set. The covers were easy to remove, wash, and put back on. The foam is very firm which allows you to build sturdy structures. The covers feel soft and like suede. Light and easy for my kids to lift and move. The handles on the two larger pieces make it easy to pick up and move. The zippers are tucked under some felt to keep them from dangling out.My kids love this set and continue to use this set every day. Mostly to sit inside the fort. We are able to use our existing couch cushions with this to make larger forts. It is nice being able to set it up like a couch when not in use for fort building but this does not happen long since the kids keep using them to play on. They have been jumping on them by playing floor is lava and they have been holding up well.
My little ones love building forts and always take our couch parts for it, but now they don’t have to! This is the perfect fort building sofa that comes with so many parts and ways to build we love it! The quality is incredible and is lightweight and easy to use! Would recommend to anyone who loves to be creative!
Great modular couch firm enough for an adult to comfortably sit on and soft enough to still be comfortable for kids to play on. Pieces expanded to the correct size very quickly no weird smells or anything like that 10 out of 10 would recommend
This children’s sofa is wonderful. It is perfect for a playroom. It consists of 10 parts. It can be folded into many options for games. On top of each element there is a suede cover made of natural fabric. Very soft and pleasant to the touch. The sponge inside is very dense and soft. Each part is locked. It is wonderful that it can be folded together with the child into different options. Like a hut, a cafe, a sofa, a slide and many others. And these parts are soft and you can safely play with the child because it is safe. I am very satisfied. My daughter is also delighted with this sofa transformer. It does not take up much space and will perfectly decorate your child’s playroom. Suitable for both younger and older children. The build quality is excellent. The quality of the zipper is also strong and good. The price-quality ratio is suitable and meets expectations. The couch is soft. The thickness is also normal, not too big and not too small. The capacity is also good. 🥰😘❤️
This couch is amazing! I bought it for my kids for Christmas and I can't wait to see their faces when they get it!! It is such great quality, the cushions are very firm (in a good way) this couch holds its shape well! The covers are very hight quality as well! It's very comfortable even for an adult to sit on! This will be such an amazing addition to our playroom! It's even better than I thought it would be when I bought it and it's a lot cheaper than the Nugget or the Figgy!

This product came highly recommended by a pediatric physical therapist and it quickly became our new favorite addition to the playroom! Not only is it a practical and comfortable sofa for my kids to sit on and read books, but it’s also a fun play couch that can be transformed into many variations of shapes and forts. From the moment it arrived my kids have not stopped playing with it and have enjoyed the challenge of building many different configurations. This play couch sparks creativity, supports developmental growth and keeps my kids entertained for hours! Now, instead of taking apart our couch cushions to build a fort, my kids use Mod Blox instead. It’s a win-win!!

The foam seems so much more firm (in a good way), and I really love the extra shapes that it comes with. It looks like an adorable little kid couch when we're not using it. I can see this getting way more use than our Nugget couch! I also loved the booklet that it came with that had different configuration ideas and lots of helpful tips.

Immediately upon opening this Mod Blox 10-piece play set, the first thing I noticed is no chemical smells or odors of any kind. I was surprised at how small the box was, but the entire play set is actually tightly wrapped into a single roll. You do need to be careful using a knife or scissors, so that you don't accidentally cut into the fabric. The pieces came out flat as pancakes, but within just a couple of minutes, they were almost fully expanded. I have included a picture of the complete set just minutes after opening and again 48 hours later. It's definitely a little fuller after a few hours, but it could have been usable almost immediately. The fact that it is CertiPur-US certified is a big deal for me, because this play set is also eventually going to double as a bed for naps and sleepovers for my 1 ½ year old granddaughter.I already have two play couches from a well-known brand for my twin 3 year old grand kids, so I’m familiar with this type of product. I would say the Mod Blox compares pretty favorably to the other brand in quality and safety, but it is quite a bit smaller and not as thick or as plush. The other play sets that I have are 10” longer and 5” wider. For me, the smaller size of the Mod Blox is actually a good thing, because eventually I need to fit three play couches into one tiny bedroom, and I don’t think three of the bigger ones will fit. My grandkids are also still very young (3 years and under), so the smaller size will be easier for them to move around. There aren't as many color choices, but Mod Blox does have a nice selection of neutral colors and some fun colors, such as orange and turquoise. The pieces are all firm enough to hold their shape for jumping and climbing, yet still soft enough to be comfortable. The removable covers are wonderful, and really a must-have option for this type of product. The zippers work smoothly, and the hidden pocket is great for preventing scratches and curious toddlers from opening them. The two round cushions are also a great bonus for pretend play that wasn't included in the pricier brand.As a nap time mattress, the two double cushions are on the firmer side, which is really better for toddlers and young kids. Mod Blox has a complete 10-piece waterproof liner available to help prevent odors and damage from liquids. It’s not currently in my budget, but thankfully, the waterproof crib sheets and stretchy crib sheets that I already own are a great fit, so at least I don’t have to worry about potty accidents. Mod Blox also sells replacement covers, should they ever get too stained, or if my granddaughter just wants to try a different color. I am also very excited to see that Mod Blox offers a frame for this set, something I really wish was available for all of the play sets. Not only will a frame help define the difference between when the play set is a toy, and when it is a bed, it will also make it much easier for this grandma to get up and down for story time or when my granddaughter just needs some extra snuggles.Overall, I am very happy with the Mod Blox playset. The only real con that I see is the price. The regular retail price is listed at $249, which is actually the same price as the larger play sets. However, the Mod Blox 10-piece set is currently on sale for $174.99, and at that price, I think it’s a good deal for such a versatile product. The Mod Blox play set is a fun and safe way for kids to use their imaginations and burn some energy, making it a good investment that should last even into the teen years and beyond.
